What is the DATI distance learning course?

Distance learning can seem an odd concept, especially if your returning to education and your abiding memory is of traditional classrooms and teaching methods but with life styles today this course course can be the perfect way to be educated in the space of your own home. Many people who decide to go down the road of being an investigator keep there existing job until they have been enrolled within a company or built up enough work to leave there previous employment.
 

What are the advantages of distance learning?
You can learn at your own pace and at a time thats convenient, you can go back and repeat until you are happy you have absorbed it all. 

How popular is distance learning?
Here at the DATI we mainly provide the distant learning course, however we do take in house courses every 3 Months please call for details.  Many of our students prefer to use the distant learning course as this is a more convenient way to learn in your own time and can run alongside your current employment.

What sort of qualifications are available?
The National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) gives you a work based qualification that provides EVIDENCE that PROVES you have the skills and knowledge to perform as an effective investigator.  It gives you the support of qualified assessors who have provided evidence of their sector competence.

Which course is for me

The DATI offer 4 levels to complete with the option of a Introduction course, the intro course is for the individual that may not be sure whether being an investigator is for them, or for the person who is thinking of applying to companies with there CV. Levels 1-4 are usually completed directly from companies that employ persons that have no or little experience within the industry.  Many persons who are employed and sit levels 1 - 4 have the cost paid by there employer (the investigation company) once they have passed the exam.
